Waste Pre-Treatment Facility

Indian waste is very complex and high in moisture content compared to developed countries waste. Therefore, the conversion of unsegregated Indian waste to energy solution requires specialized technological solutions. Our expertise in this area is what makes us the industry leaders in this field. We have performed a five-year extensive study of Indian waste and using this information we have been able to develop a wide range of specific solutions enabling us to handle and convert the waste material into a usable clean fuel source.

In our typical process, waste will go through a number of different pre-treatment (or ‘intermediate’) processes, that include moisture reduction, recyclable recovery (collection of useful materials), sorting and resizing, material blending, inert material removal and density correction. We can also convert demolition and construction waste into useable products avoiding landfill.

We can provide client services, such as, waste process systems and plant design, gasification and power generation solutions, equipment selection and procurement, installation and commissioning and the construction of waste pre-treatment facilities for waste processing companies or government bodies. All our design solutions are driven with just one remit, the reduction or elimination of waste to landfill.

Material Recovery Facility (MRF)

Using our Advanced Segregation Technologies, the waste passing through our pre-treatment facility is segregated to recover recyclable products. Inert objects commonly found in the unsegregated waste are removed and reused, any other elements which may reduce the calorific value of the finished fuel is removed.

Segregation of waste is a complex issue and so we have a wide range of solutions which we can draw on. Each waste stream has different requirements, so each plant may need to have a specialist process, while another may not. The overall design is governed by the incoming waste stream and the outgoing fuel specifications. In order to achieve a comparable fuel, we may need to include unique blending techniques to ensure we are able to sustain a uniform calorific value for the subsequent output fuel.
